Our classes are affordable and open to anyone in the community who wants to learn. American Sign Language classes are provided to help hearing people converse with neighbors and family members and to give those who become deaf later in life another mode to communicate.

Taught by qualified Deaf instructors with many years of teaching experience, our ASL classes offer an immersive educational experience. Classes are offered in 10-week sessions on a quarterly basis. Corporate classes are also available. They can be held at your place of choice or online and can have an added focus of words commonly used in your industry.

ASL classes are offered four times a year, Winter Session, Spring Session, Summer Session & Fall Session with each Session running for 10 weeks with each class meeting once a week.

We offer three ASL Levels; ASL 1, ASL 2, ASL 3 at $50 per person per level.

There is a maximum of 20 participants per class. (suggest you register at your earliest convenience)

All ASL classes are offered online using the Zoom platform.

The ASL Program is for participants 14 years or older.

If a parent takes an ASL class with a younger child, that is acceptable as long as they take the class together.

If you are interested, we can add your contact information (name & email address) to our “ASL Contact List”.

When the next Registration Session opens, the system will automatically send an email out to everyone on the list, letting them know that registration is open. That will be the opportunity for you to register for an ASL class.

DSC’s ASL Program is geared toward the community at large. The ASL Program is a good “stepping” platform toward learning more about the Deaf Community. Complete our three levels to assess your interest in working with the Deaf Community.

Registration for ASL Classes for Spring 2024 is now open! Each ASL class is offered at a fee of $50.00 per person for the 10 week session and will be held online using the Zoom platform.
