If you would like to request an interpreter on-line, please e-mail the below information to
Interpreting@dsc.org. Please note that DSC must have a least
72 hours advance notice for on-line requests. You will receive an automated response from the Interpreting Department upon receipt of this request. If no response is received, please contact us at 614-841-1991.
If you are in need of an interpreter within the next 72 hours, please call Deaf Services Center at 614-841-1991.
INFORMATION NEEDED FOR THE REQUEST:
• Date of Appointment
• Time of Appointment
• Estimated Length of Assignment
• Name / Address of Assignment Location (including City)
• Name of the Deaf Consumer
• On Site Contact Person's Name and Telephone Number
• Briefly describe the purpose of the appointment
• Name of Person making the Request
• Telephone Number of Person making the Request
Once you complete the information needed for the request in your e-mail, you can send it to
Interpreting@dsc.org.
When the requester sends an E-request to the
Interpreting@dsc.org address, it will automatically forward to Lisa and Tammy. Tammy will be asked to "auto" respond to all E-requests. In the absence of Tammy, Lisa will respond to these requests.
The auto response will say:
Thank you for choosing Deaf Services Center for your interpreting needs. We have successfully received your request and we will be scheduling a qualified interpreter for the appointment. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Deaf Services Center at 614-841-1991. Thank You!
