* Associate Degree in Interpreting / Transliterating or
* Three years or more of experience in the field of interpreting
* National Certification or qualified and in the process of obtaining certification
* Knowledge of the RID Code of Ethics
* Sensitivity to the needs of the Deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing communities
* Understanding and Commitment to the Mission Statement of DSC
