(Deaf Equipment Modification Program)

The City of Columbus contacted Deaf Services Center to take over the program for MOBILE and the City of Columbus. The City of Columbus and the U.S. Department of Housing provides funding to help buy the equipment to make homes more accessible. There is enough funding for up to 40 people/household for a year. In order to be eligible for the program, we must know your total household income and you must be deaf or hard of hearing or have a dependent that is deaf or hard of hearing and live in the city of Columbus.
